Obnoxious Downton Abbey post ahead!

You Probably know who these beautiful people are. And if you don’t, let me say….

Beautiful people!

….WHAT ROCK HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER AND WHY DON’T YOU WATCH DOWNTON ABBEY AND IF YOU’RE NOT WATCHING IT HOW ARE WE EVEN STILL FRIENDS?!

Okay, sorry for caps lock. It’s obnoxious, I know. But it just had to be said. Also, allow me to gloat for a moment: I first posted about Downton Abbey here. That was April of last year, not long after I finished watching Series 1 on Netflix (for the first time. A second viewing ensued as I anxiously waited for series 2). Nobody had a clue. But now, everyone ever on my Facebook is suddenly obsessed with this show and I just think, well, I think I should get some credit here. Yes, a little pat on the back maybe.

I watched all of Series 2 online because it aired in the UK in September and after watching the first series last April, there was no way I could wait until the US January air date. No sir. No way at all. Thank heavens for sketchy semi-illegal websites that air TV shows before their air dates! So, basically I’m in love. They start filming Series 3 next week. Thank heavens!

And I’m thinking Lady Mary for Halloween? Yes? Yes, I think so!

Warning: If all my friends go as Lady Mary this year for Halloween there will be consequences. So pick a different Donwton character and move on, kids. Nothing to see here.

Since I’m obviously a trend setter, I’m going to say this: if you haven’t yet become obsessed with Downton, it’s about time. Stop reading this and go find Series 1 and plan on not doing anything else for the next 8 hours or so while it consumes you. If you have never seen it and don’t plan on watching it, then I have no choice but to de-friend you. (okay, I won’t really de-friend you. But you know, watch Downton).

And after you’ve watched it, or if you’ve already watched it (especially if like me, you’ve seen every episode including the Christmas special) please feel free to leave a comment so we can squeal together over how amazing this show is.

Update

It has been a long time since I’ve posted an actual update on me so for all you crazy kids out there checking my blog every five minutes, here you go…..just kidding….but seriously, and update on me….here it goes.

Work: Babysitting, Selling Merchandise for the new Musical Billy Elliot

Church: Redeemer Presbyterian, amazing Fellowship Group, Actors group and Inter Arts Fellowship when I can

Acting: Not yet, planning to go my first auditions this month, still saving money for new headshots but new headshots or not, my day job is set so I need to get out there and follow my dreams

Watching: Brothers & Sisters, The Hills

Listening to: Show tunes

Loving: My Birthday….t-minus 2 days!

Missing; my mom….she came to visit me and it was awesome but she’s on her way home now

Wishing: Clemson was much closer to NYC

Looking forward to: My Birthday on Tuesday!!!! It’s also election day which I am pretty excited about, too:)
